Fontvera ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Theis Parker Frost, registered in Denmark under CVR 30674642, VAT DK30674642, Copenhagen, Denmark. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit fontvera.eu.

We take privacy seriously because we are built on privacy principles. Fontvera is an EU-sovereign research platform, and we apply the same standards to our own operations that we help legal professionals understand.

1. Information We Collect

Analytics data: We use Plausible Analytics (self-hosted in the EU) to understand aggregate site usage. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. We see pages visited, referrer sources, and country of origin, but we cannot identify individual users.

Email addresses (if provided): If you voluntarily sign up for updates, we store your email address solely to send you the content you requested. We do not share this address with third parties.

Chatbot queries: When you use the Fontvera chatbot, your queries are processed to generate responses. Queries are not linked to identifiable users and are used only to improve the service.

2. What We Do Not Collect

• Cookies for tracking purposes
• IP addresses linked to identifiable users
• Personal information beyond what you voluntarily provide
• Financial or payment information
• Data from third-party tracking networks

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

All data is hosted on European infrastructure:

• Servers located in Helsinki, Finland (Hetzner)
• Database and analytics in EU-resident systems
• AI processing through Mistral (Paris, France)
• No data is transferred outside the European Economic Area

4. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to: access any personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to processing, and data portability.

To exercise any of these rights, email theis@fontvera.eu. We will respond within 30 days.

5. Data Retention

• Email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days
• Analytics data: aggregated and retained for 24 months
• Chatbot queries: retained for 30 days for service improvement, then deleted
