Competent authorities shall monitor and supervise compliance of data intermediation services providers with the requirements of this Chapter. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

Competent authorities may monitor and supervise compliance of data intermediation services providers on the basis of a request by a natural or legal person. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

Competent authorities shall have the power to request from data intermediation services providers or their legal representatives all information necessary to verify compliance, ensuring requests are proportionate and reasoned. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

Where non-compliance is found, the competent authority shall notify the data intermediation services provider of those findings and give it the opportunity to state its views. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

The data intermediation services provider shall have the opportunity to state its views within 30 days of the receipt of the notification of non-compliance. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

The competent authority shall have the power to require the cessation of the infringement within a reasonable time limit or immediately in the case of a serious infringement. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

The competent authority shall take appropriate and proportionate measures with the aim of ensuring compliance, including imposing dissuasive financial penalties. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

The competent authority shall have the power to require a postponement of the commencement or a suspension of the provision of the data intermediation service until changes are made. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

The competent authority shall have the power to require the cessation of the provision of the data intermediation service in the event that serious or repeated infringements have not been remedied. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

The competent authority shall request the Commission to remove the data intermediation services provider from the register once it has ordered the cessation of the provision of the service. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

If a data intermediation services provider remedies infringements, it shall re-notify the competent authority for data intermediation services. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

The competent authority shall notify the Commission of each new re-notification from a data intermediation services provider. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

Where a provider not established in the Union fails to designate a legal representative or provide necessary information, the competent authority shall have the power to postpone or suspend the provision of the service. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

The competent authorities shall notify the data intermediation services provider of measures imposed and the reasons, as well as necessary steps to rectify shortcomings, without delay. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

The competent authorities shall stipulate a reasonable period, not longer than 30 days, for the data intermediation services provider to comply with imposed measures. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

Competent authorities of the Member State of main establishment and other Member States shall cooperate and assist each other where a provider operates in multiple Member States. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

Where a competent authority requests assistance from another, it shall submit a reasoned request. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14

The competent authority shall provide a response to a request for assistance without delay and within a timeframe proportionate to the urgency. Regulation (EU) 2022/868, Article 14, Article 14
