Obligation 1
The CE marking shall be affixed visibly, legibly and indelibly to high-risk AI systems, or to the packaging or accompanying documentation if affixing to the system is not possible or warranted.

Obligation 2
For high-risk AI systems provided digitally, a digital CE marking shall be used if it can easily be accessed via the interface, a machine-readable code, or other electronic means.

Obligation 3
Where applicable, the CE marking shall be followed by the identification number of the notified body responsible for the conformity assessment procedures.

The identification number of the notified body shall be affixed by the provider or the provider’s authorised representative under the instructions of the notified body.

The identification number of the notified body shall be indicated in any promotional material which mentions that the high-risk AI system fulfils the requirements for CE marking.
