Obligation 1
Certificates issued by notified bodies must be drawn up in a language that can be easily understood by the relevant authorities in the Member State where the notified body is established.

Obligation 2
Certificates for AI systems covered by Annex I shall not exceed a validity period of five years, and for those covered by Annex III, four years.

Obligation 3
Upon request by the provider, the validity of a certificate may be extended for further periods not exceeding five years (Annex I) or four years (Annex III) based on a re-assessment in accordance with applicable conformity assessment procedures.

Obligation 4
If an AI system no longer meets the requirements, the notified body shall suspend or withdraw the certificate or impose restrictions, unless the provider takes appropriate corrective action within an appropriate deadline set by the notified body.

The provider of the system must take appropriate corrective action to ensure compliance with requirements within an appropriate deadline set by the notified body to avoid suspension or withdrawal of the certificate.

The notified body shall give reasons for its decision to suspend, withdraw, or restrict a certificate.
